I love this idea! What are good seeds to use? We’ve done cat grass but that’s all. Can they be put in the garden later?
I would love to see your felted eggs on here. Ours didn’t turn out so well.

Yes! You can transplant them to the garden and kind of squish up the eggshell a little to help feed the plant.
Radishes are nice because they germinate quickly. Sunflowers are good because they are a pretty sure thing, and I love them because they show kids that from one tiny seed a HUGE plant can grow and give us hundreds and hundreds of new seeds.
Maybe someone else will have good recommendations for seeds — we did sweet pea flowers, spinch and onions because that is what we had and what we can easily transplant this time of year.
Confession: I’ve NEVER grown an onion from a seed. I usually get sets at the farmer’s market, so we’ll see how it goes!
